After attending school in Toronto and working for a time in a local law office in Thornbury, Bev, and her husband Paul moved home to Wiarton to raise their girls.
In 1986 Bev was hired in a contract position by Bruce Peninsula Health Services to work in the Fundraising Campaign office of Generations of Care. This Campaign, chaired by Tom Norris, successfully raised over $3.5m to build a new hospital in Wiarton. When this contract ended she became an independent Licence Issuing Agent for the MTO until 1999 and, during this time, until 2005, she also worked in an administrative position for BPHS Housing Corporation for seventeen years. In August of 2005 Bev was hired by Bruce Peninsula Health Services
Foundation. It was like coming home again!
